As a child in Pittsburgh, Pa, Brian began his art training from his Grandfather, Joe. At age 9 Brian and his family moved to Orlando, Fl, where the obvious influence of Walt Disney was all around. This began Brian’s journey to become an illustrator. Brian went on to receive his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Ringling College of Art and Design in 1998. During college, and continuing after, Brian’s dream came true as he was hired to be a character artist for the Walt Disney Company, where he was mentored by the late Disney Legend, Ralph Kent. After almost 6 years with Disney in both Florida and France, Brian sought out to achieve other dreams and goals as he began freelancing as an illustrator. Since then, Brian has been blessed to work with some great people, and great companies world wide, and his dreams continue to come true! For the past seven years Brian has worked in the Video Game industry beginning his career with NC2 Media creating 2D art and animations for Casual Mobile Games, then on to work at Traega Entertainment where he was a 2D Character and UI Artist, as well as creating the branding for the the games and the company itself. Then we began creating 3D games at Traega where Brian transitioned into a 3D character artist/generalist, as well as a 2D/3D UI artist for games created in Unreal Engine 4. He created human characters, spaceships, weapons and props using Zbrush, Maya, 3D Coat and Substance Painter.
